Founded in 1996 by Eddie Johnson with nothing more than a chainsaw and a strong work ethic, Timber Specialists has grown from humble beginnings into one of the Southeast’s leading logging, land clearing, and logistics contractors. In the early 2000s, the company expanded rapidly across the Charlotte area, building a reputation for hard work, integrity, and dependable results.
Today, Timber Specialists employs over 30 team members and has completed projects across four southeastern states. Still family-owned and operated, Eddie works alongside his wife, Cherry, and sons, Rhyne and Edward, who help manage daily operations.
